Who is Shawn Lizard?
Tracy M. Watson, a school teacher born in Washington, DC, has completed her new book “Shawn Lizard: How It Started”: an entertaining children’s book about an extraordinary yet misunderstood lizard who meets a magical moment in his life that changes him.
Tracy writes, “Shawn doesn’t want to live the plain-old ordinary lizard life. He doesn’t like routine. He wants to be extraordinary. He is a big dreamer. Shawn and his dreaming sometimes leads him to being misunderstood, but in a magical moment, his life will change forever.”
Published by Page Publishing, Tracy M. Watson’s uplifting opus is a wonderful teaching lesson about the importance of determination and patience in life despite being left out for being unique.

Layla gently put me down in the grass and gave me a French fry.
“He is cute, and I think he even smiled at me, Mommy.”
“You are daydreaming again! Lizards don’t smile, they are not cute, and they need to get rid of them!”
I didn’t like Layla’s mom’s comments. I have been hoping to see Layla again. What a lovely name! Layla.

Oooh Myyyyy🥁📯🎶I guess it might be the child in me 😂😊 and I don’t really care. But what I do know and want to tell you is that- I totally, totally enjoyed Shawn Lizard and can hardly wait for She’s next adventure!! Great story line and writing!!
